Hmm... I was about to write to write something about the recent CONASS rally, but I'd rather to write something full of positivity.
Are you a fan of Japanese Pop (JPop)? Or you just listen whenever you hear the tunes are dancable?
Pizzicato Five is one of the prominent bands of the 90's era from Japan. They were very popular that their songs reached the states of America and eventually, even in the Philippines. Their greatest song that caught the Filipino fans, at the era of 90's, was their song Sweet Soul Revue which was danced by famous dancers in the country. Based on the television, it was danced by Gary Valenciano and other artists, but when I saw the youtube, people said that certain dance groups perform this and eventually made people groove (with specific steps).
If you are a little bit awkward about this song, well I guess, I can describe it's familiar lyrics on the chorus part which is "Hola! Revue ga hajimaru..." and so on and so forth.
I first heard this on the radio and suddenly, I saw this video in a local music station in cable TV. When I saw this song, I realized that, it's been a long time that this song created a huge impact in the Philippine Society which is really really interesting and very nice to know.
By 2000, the band disbanded and made their last and memorable Japan tour entitled: Pizzicato Five R.I.P. However, their popularity created a huge impact in Japan's music industry and even created a cool music history around the world.
